Shane and Laura's nieces and nephews were an integral part of the ceremony, where they all walked down the ceremony and encircled the couple as they exchanged vows.
We crafted this sign with this saying on the one side as guests entered the ceremony site, setting the sunny tone for the wedding.

The province of Guanacaste (where Tamarindo is situated) is called the Cradle of Costa Rican Culture and this trio of local musicians brought a local musical flair to the ceremony and cocktail hour.
Just married!
The reception was held around the giant pool at the Tamarindo Diria, under the stars. Our theme was the ocean so our tables captured the feeling of the sea by using vases with floating candles, blue and white florals, light blue organza overlays, seaglass under glass chargers and clear Ghost chairs. LED lights was set under the tall vases to add more light to the tables.
A modern lounge, with a rustic canopy, wooden tables and custom pillows with the themed artwork from the invitations, was a relaxing place to chill out by the dance area.
Everything from the wedding invitations to the pillows to the tables featured wave artwork. Under each glass charger were conversation starters about the couple.
A mariachi band kicked the cocktail hour into high gear!
This super active couple love surfing so a surfboard amid a 'sea' of blue hydrangeas served as the escort card table.
Over the week leading up to the wedding, small bird whistles sold on the beach became a 'thing' with the wedding crew so one of the guests purchased some as a surprise wedding favor.
